Gets or sets the channel of this instance. By default = COM1 to COM4. With some serial interface cards, it is possible to have more than COM4. |

Gets or sets the flow control flag. Sample: "/RS=422". This parameter controls the data flow of the CTS (clear to send) and the RTS (request to send) cable of the serieal device. Valid values are: NOT_SET = -2:TheRS flag will not be set for communication. SYSTEM = -1: PVI does not change the settings. The settings set in the OS Control Panel will be used. RTS_OFF = 0: Permanently turn off the RTS line. (RTS flow control is disabled). RS232 = 232: Use RTS Handshake. RS422 = 422: Permanently turn on RTS line. The CTS flow control is deactivated for all values bigger than 0. Some USB to serial adapters are not able to handle the CTS and RTS flow control. To use these devices anyway set the flow control to RTS_OFF. |
