The ADI line only works in combination with the device-specific ADI driver. This can be downloaded from the B&R website (www.br-automation.com).
The ADI driver does not have to be installed on your computer in order to use the ADI line. The line will then return all supported objects when using access type POBJ_ACC_LIST_EXTERN and POBJ_ACC_LIST_PVAR.
The ADI driver allows B&R industrial PCs, connected B&R Automation Panels and display units and the B&R add-on USV to be accessed.
The ADI line can be operated on the following platforms:

The ADI line requires at least ADI DLL version 2.00. This is included in the ADI driver version 1.50 or higher on the APC620 and PPC700 and ADI driver version 2.00 and higher on the PP100/200 and MP100/200.
Depending on the device being used, a certain version of BIOS or other device-specific firmware may be necessary to take advantage of the full functionality of the ADI. The required versions are listed with the predefined variable names for the devices.

1 On an Automation PC 510, Automation PC 511 and Power Panel 500, the information and functions of the system unit are accessed. Additionally, information is read from the installed CPU board and memory module and any optional IF board and I/O board.
ADI supports access to the display, keys and LEDs of the supported industrial PCs and connected Automation Panel 800 and 900 devices.
ADI supports access to a B&R add-on UPS device.
ADI supports access to the CPU board installed in a Power Panel 500.
ADI supports access to the memory module (DRAM) installed a Power Panel 500.
ADI supports access to the IF board installed in a Power Panel 500.
ADI supports access to the I/O board installed in a Power Panel 500.
